Strategies for Achieving the Cape Cod Grand Slam

Tonight's speakers will discuss strategies for achieving the coveted Cape Cod Grand Slam: catching striped bass, bluefish, false albacore and bonito in a single day.
Patrick Cassidy has been fishing the waters around Cape Cod for nearly 40 years. Before Cape Cod on the Fly, he worked at the Cape Cod Times, writing and editing stories about a variety of topics, including fishing. He is fully licensed and insured; owns New England Maritime; is cofounder of the Cape Cod School of Saltwater Fly Fishing; is a FarBank certified saltwater fly fishing instructor; serves on the boards for Fly Fishers International Northeast Council and the Cape Cod Blue Economy Foundation; and is a member of the American Saltwater Guides Association.
Captain George Sylvestre is a Fly Fishers International Certified Casting Instructor, fly fishing guide, and educator. He operates Sylvestre Outdoors with the help of his wife and three sons. Together they provide clients with fly casting instruction, guided fly fishing trips, and fly fishing educational seminars. He regularly contributes articles to magazines including On the Fly, On the Water, and Tail Magazine. He leads the Cape Cod chapter of Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing and is the Chair of FFI’s Education Committee developing educational programs for fly anglers of all ages and abilities. He is also the cofounder of the Cape Cod School of Saltwater Fly Fishing and a Far Bank certified Saltwater Fly Fishing Instructor.
